Meadowfoam Seed Oil
Meadowfoam Seed Oil
A silky, golden oil pressed from meadowfoam seeds — built almost entirely from long-chain fatty acids that make it extraordinarily stable, sealing in moisture and adding lasting slip to a blend. Hover any measure to see where meadowfoam sits on the scale.
What it is
Meadowfoam seed oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of Limnanthes alba, a low-growing North American wildflower whose white blooms blanket fields like foam. It is over 98% long-chain fatty acids — an unusual makeup that makes it remarkably resistant to oxidation.
That stability, plus a cushioning, moisture-sealing slip, makes it valued both as a conditioning oil in its own right and as a natural stabiliser that helps extend the life of a whole blend.
